I started the Firm Foundation First lifestyle blog to accompany our Instagram page, which follows the build of our modern farmhouse style new home. I quickly realized I wanted to expand the idea of simply sharing house updates. I want to actually write about things that might help or inspire people.
The world today can definitely be a little dark, scary, and confusing. Ever wish you saw more uplifting encouragement that filled you with hope instead of fear and worry? I know I have! That’s why one of my categories for this blog is all things FAITH & CHRISTIANITY, which is a cornerstone of my family’s foundation. ✝️
I am also passionate about all things CLEAN & ORGANIZED. Do you struggle with organization? Do you wish you could keep your home more tidy on a consistent basis? Are you overwhelmed by those “deep cleaning” jobs that you have no idea how to start? Trust me, I have been there. But I have learned some things over the course of my years (especially my parenting years) and I want to help! I will be sharing organizational strategies, cleaning tips and tricks, and my favorite products. 🧽
Finally, in relation to our home build, I am obsessed with all things MODERN FARMHOUSE. I can’t wait to share the decor pieces that I find, but ya’ll have to wait a bit for that, since we just broke ground in July 2021. 🏡🤍🖤
